THE UB PRES SINGERS

Born From the initiative of a handful of students, worshiping at the Presbyterian church Molyko Buea, all registered in the University of Buea on the 4th of December 1994, with a goal to evangelize through music and stage performance (drama), the UB PRES SINGERS (University of Buea Presbyterian Singers) today counts 15 years of God’s grace to their credit.
Numbering up to 100 members (2/3rd of which are female), currently the UB PRES SINGERS today have gone beyond the limits of her original music and drama evangelism to other means, all to the Glory of God.
She counts about 5 volumes of Audio cassettes, 4 volumes of Audio CDs and 2 volumes of video CDs with the latest Audio released as recently as December 2009.
She also has been publishing a monthly newsletter “LIFTED VOICES” since January 2009. This has gone a long way to extend the message of the Almighty God to people in avenues not open to musical concerts and tours.
The UB PRES SINGERS enjoy a great commonwealth of friend and sister choirs; like the UB Choir, Celestial Echoes, the CYF, Redemption Choir, just to name this few.
Her seat is the Presbyterian Church Molyko where she participates actively in the worship life of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon.
Once more her aim is evangelization, music-no matter how solemn, being just a catalyst.
